COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY Part 1

I have done a few commercial photography shoots lately and I have to say I really enjoyed them. Commercial photography is very different than family photography.  I didn't have to get anyone to sit still.  Ha!

The first company I worked with was Rhodes Building Company.  They are a full service construction company for the commercial and industrial market.  I shot two projects for them,  Launch Credit Union in Melbourne, FL and Orange Theory Fitness in Lake Mary, FL.  Joe and Matt were fantastic to work with and I loved how the images turned out.

Back to School (I know. I'm waaaay behind!)

So, I'm late with this blog post.  Once the 2014 school year started things got crazy and my blogging was pushed to the back burner.

I'm posting a few images from my Back to School Sessions in August.  These are one of my favorite mini sessions to do.  There is something so precious about a child getting ready to start an exciting new year of school.  I love the retro desk, the pencils, pigtails, globe, butcher paper covered books, and glasses.  I really can't get enough and I'm already brainstorming next year's Back to School Sessions.

My First Wedding

This past summer a lovely couple asked if I would photograph their wedding.  I had never photographed a wedding before, but was excited to take this project on for them.  I partnered with my long-time friend, and fellow photographer, Xibel of Bella Ana Photography.  Xibel and I work well together and I knew we would also have fun.

Lots of planning went into the preparations on our part.  Emailing, texting, and phoning back and forth to make sure we had everything we could possibly need to capture the beautiful moments of this couple's wedding.

The big day finally arrived.  Xibel and I met at the venue with all of our equipment and supplies, then got to work.  The ceremony was small, but sweet.  The sun was shining and this couple's favorite people were present to witness them exchange their vows.  I am truly honored that they asked me to document this beautiful day for them.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. D!  I wish you a happily ever after.
