A Third F Family!

I realized that several of my families who booked Holiday Mini Sessions with me have last names that start with the letter F!  This family met me one evening and, as usual, they were dressed to kill.  The look amazing every time I photograph them.  I just love them!

Orange County Fire Rescue Station 71

A few days before Thanksgiving, a local church group delivered a meal to OCFR Station 71.  They brought enough food for the crew to eat for a week.  This sweet group also prayed over these men, sung them a hymn, took a tour of the firehouse, then posed for a few photos.  The crew was very appreciative of not only the meal, but the fellowship, as well.

The next time you hear a siren in the distance, say a prayer.  Not only for the victim and their families, but for the first responders. These men and women face tragedies every day and do their best to save someone who is loved.  The need all the prayers they can get!

Another F Family!

I have been photographing this sweet family ever since their Mommy asked me to photograph her baby girl in the park.  I was actually shooting another family and word of mouth on the playground prompted her to ask me.  Her baby girl is actually a kindergartner now! I'm not only grateful that this Mommy had faith in me, I'm also grateful for the Mommy who said such kind words about me and my work.

Blessed doesn't even begin to describe my photography journey.

Orange County Fire Rescue Station 40

This past holiday season, I was contacted by Orange County.  Each year they hold an Adopt a Fire Station event, where families, neighborhoods, churches, and businesses can adopt a Fire Station on a certain day.  The group then brings the first responders meals, desserts, and other fun things.  As many of you know first responders are very dear to me.  It was such an honor to see these men and women being appreciated.  They deserved all the goodies, caroling, crafts, entertainment, and holiday cheer that they got.  I hope I have the privilege of capturing these blessings again this year.

This post is about Station 40.  The sweet lady in the pink shirt actually works for Orange County, herself.  Every year she adopts a couple of Fire Stations and cooks meals for them.  I loved how she brought them a bowl of fruit and nuts.  It was a reminder of my childhood and visiting my grandparents.  The holidays meant there was always a bowl of fruit and nuts on the table for guests to snack on while they were visiting. That simple gesture reminded me there are some really nice people in this world.

The F Family

I am so lucky to have this sweet family in my life.  Not only are they wonderful friends, but they are also so easy to photograph.  We chat, we walk, we catch up with each other, all the while taking pictures.  I look forward to our sessions together.  I'm truly grateful for all four of them!

While we are talking about how great this family is, I'm also going to tell you that Bryan has just opened his new State Farm Agency in lovely Winter Garden, FL.  If you are in the market for a new insurance agent, give Bryan a call.  I promise he will not steer you wrong.

Busy Season

Whew!  Busy doesn't even begin to describe the fall/winter photography season I've had.  Busy, but I have loved every minute of it!  On top of all the lovely families I've photographed, I also got a very special opportunity from the Public Relations department of Orange County, Florida.  They asked me to photograph the Adopt a Fire Station Events taking place throughout the county.  It was an honor and a privilege to capture the amazing families and businesses who delivered a little love to our Orange County Fire Rescue Stations during the holidays. I also enjoyed capturing our firefighters and first responders pridefully showing off their stations, equipment, and crew.  Awesome-sauce!

I will definitely be blogging all of these sessions in the coming weeks.  Until then, here's a sneak peek at how blessed my photography business has been.

XOXO

There's a special place in my heart for LEO's!

As many of you know, there is a special place in my heart for Law Enforcement Officers.  They are good people and they do good work.
I was happy to show this LEO, and his family, some love with these photos.
And can we just take a minute to appreciate Teddy, the Labradoodle?  He was the sweetest pup ever and he sure did love his Daddy.
